Corporate Institute of Horticulture is a registered institution under TVETA Act as a Technical Vocational College, Trainers are approved by TVETA thereby guaranteeing thoroughly skilled farm operators and managers.

How Our trainings will benefit you?

We offer tailored training in specialized horticulture courses using its conceived approach known as Training for Practice (T4P). The courses are designed to equip people with specialized skills to ensure in-depth and sound knowledge, not only in production, but also in post-harvest handling, processing and marketing of horticultural crops.

We have a unique blend of skills in setting up and managing a horticulture business as crucial components of the training, and since our trainers are approved by TVETA We guarantee thoroughly skilled farm operators and managers.

Our training model is centered much on both practical and theory, but We emphasize much on practice because We believe that theoretical knowledge of skill-based subjects needs to be supported by practice. Most institutions do not integrate theory with practice, they are centered much on theory, this makes students feel like they are lost when they start working. Theory knowledge has less value until students are able to apply it for practical purposes.

We are dedicated and focused on creating valuable impacts within the community by sharing skills, encouraging collaborations, and cultivating opportunities on a local, national level and worldwide. We place a strong emphasis on community engagement, encouraging youth and women to actively participate in and contribute to horticultural production, processing and trade through acquisition of knowledge and skills gained in formal and non-formal trainings in the horticultural food sector. Through various trainings, projects, and partnerships, Youth and Women gain practical experience and develop a sense of social responsibility while making a positive impact on society.
